Blog Lots

Yay! I did it! I managed to use the computer!

I haven't used it for six days. Amazing...

Well, I'm aiming for three posts. Today! I don't think I've done more than one post except on the first day of my blog. Come to think of it, I forgot to celebrate Essence of Dittany's birthday.

The first post will be on YWC of course.
The second on the second day of MIFW.
The third? THIS.

I might even go on a spree and do not one, not two, but three more posts! Kidding. I'll spend too much time.

The First Day of M-IFW 08

Weeee! I went for the first day of the Malaysia International Fashion Week! At first the day started out horrid.

We reached there at eleven after a lot of rushing since I only woke up at ten. Then we queued up. It turned out that we were in the wrong line. So, we went to the other table.

The week before we had "registered". Registering means nil. You still have to wait until all the important people get in then they will give you tickets. So we waited. All the VIPs were late so the show only started around 11:48. Then the speaker came and said how good we were to be bright and early. The show was supposed to start at eleven.

We watched Truly Asia which was a group of designers around Asia. At first there was this weird dance thing. They all had this white make-up on their faces. Then it was PU3. My mom and I felt it was rather boring. Nothing new except for this bright pink shorts-shirt. We also feel Amber Chia is looking stick-like.

We watched designers from India, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, China and some other places.

The last one I think was still from Malaysia. It was boriing. I think the lights gave my mom a headache. And then there was this screechy, screamy music. I didn't like the fashion. Again, nothing new.

We went out of the cat-walk place. Then we went out of the Fashion week room. We were leaving the place hunting for lunch when a lady called us and stamped our hands with this red chop. When we went downstairs, we realised that the chop gave us a free, nice, buffet lunch!

We didn't know that while we were eating, the Villiam Ooi show was on. We missed it. I hadn't expected the show to be on time.

We went back in the Fashion Week place and waited and waited for at least an hour. Luckily I persuaded my mom to ask if the red chop could get us in. It couldn't. So we had to get the "free seating" tickets. When we went back in the queue had already started for the MIFA 8 fashion forward. But it was blue tickets, or rather important people, first. Ours was black. So we waited. Then, one of the volunteers came and gave us each a blue ticket!

Muahahaha. For once I was a VIP. I got a fuschia sticker instead of a green one. The seating was by number. My mom keeps on saying that "angels" were watching. Har. The seats were much closer to the cat-walk so I think my mom could see the faces of the models more.

The competition was nice. I think I prefered it to Truly Asia even though the designers were not so experienced. I think it didn't make me so tired either.

Tommorow I'm going again! Though I have CAD so I will miss a show.

YWC!

Doggie in the Movie!

I watched Amazing Grace yesterday.

My mom says the actor is from Fantastic Four. It seems weird. Somebody acts as a superhero and then acts as a totally different character? Well, actually I guess it's not so weird. He is supposed to be a hero.

Before I watched the movie I thought he was a black. Muaha. I also didn't know the movie was about a loooong time ago.

I wouldn't call the movie "soooo boring" but I wouldn't call the movie "so engaging!" either. Actually I thought It would be really boring since all the things I heard about the movie point in one direction - BORING.

I like the dogs. They are MY kind of dogs. Big, and furry!

I say I only like the dogs. How shallow.

That's what I like. I like the dogs. Simple.

Alright, I like other things too. I like that it was set in seventeen something. The costumes were nice, though I'm talking about the female costumes. I always look at the costumes in these type of Jane Austen time movies.

But I didn't really enjoy the movie because I watched it at my mom's friend's house. I was sitting on the floor, hugging my knees. At home I would probably do that at home but it didn't feel comfortable because I was in a house I didn't know well. Also, it was FREEZING. My brother had stuffed his hands under his shirt.

I kept on thinking his name was Wilbur Wilburforce.

OOOO

The title is actually supposed to be peas in a pod. It looks like my attempt failed. I'm not "OOOO-ing" at some juicy secret

I like the look of peas in a pod. I think they're really cute. The reasons:

They are green!

They are round?

Green is my favourite colour!

They are cute.
I'm always caught up with some sort of fruit or vegetable. The one before peas were lemons. Everywhere lemons were seen. That's why I made that cat_inalemon thing. Before lemons were apple trees! I think I still like lemons though. But maybe not so much. One thing I like is the colour. Yellow. Something other than the colour, the shape.
I remember the time when my grandmother made these pea pods. She cut the shape out from crepe paper and then put a bead at the spot where she wanted a bump and pressed. Then it looked as if there was a pea inside. She did this till the end so it looked like a pod full of peas. It was nice. Realistic too. But I dunno where they went. Its probably in some junkyard somewhere. We throw away lots of what we've made. We being me and my mom. That's why my mom doesn't want to send me to craft or pottery class. We have no storage space for the crafts created.
And I always get bored of the classes I go to. BORED. It's a very disturbing, hair-ripping feeling. Well no, I never rip my hair out.
I end up dreading going to classes. It's always the teacher or the stuff thought. Sometimes it's both. I don't get inspired easily.

Paper Cuts

That hurts. It's especially bad when you start dancing with your hand hard. Then, one big, unpleasant slide and slice goes the skin!

I dunno why they hurt so much. It doesn't even go really deep. Eating a juicy sour orange is the worst. The juice drips down and goes into the cut. I usually try to suck it out. By then the damage is done.

I remember the time I asked Sonia what to write about. She said paper-cuts. Then I thought of banana smoothies. Banana smoothies are goood. I want a KENWOOD SMOOTHIE JUNIOR. Then I decided not to blog. I didn't have anything to blog about anyway.

But Kenwood Smoothie Juniors are nice. That is what I want to talk about.

No, I don't really want a Kenwood Smoothie Junior. I was scolded quite a few times for wanting too much and how I was NEVER satisfied with what I had. Quite true.

I want a camera!

I'm joking. But I think another camera than the company one would be nice. It's so old. It runs on batteries. I have decided that you should never buy a camera that runs on batteries. Even if they are chargeable. They just kong out so fast that I start being very, very, very, grumpy if the camera is left on for a sort of long period of time. The same remarks I hear, RELAX!
